The food here is the best! The chicken wings are so meaty. The breakfast burrito is delicious! Try the cuban sandwich, you won't be disappointed. The staff gives great service, fast, friendly and personable.

Words cannot describe how much I love this place!The food and customer service is always TOP NOTCH! They have a lovely (heated during the winter/misters during the summer) patio... with outdoor tables and comfy couches! When the weather is nice they even have garage door style windows that open up so you can cozy up to the outdoor bar and still order drinks from inside! But don’t worry, even when it’s too cold/too hot the amazing bar/wait staff will make the extra effort to come outside and give you the same great service that you’d get indoors! They always have fabulous food and drink specials... and their happy hour is not to be missed! House made dressings/sauces. Literally everything on their menu is absolutely spectacular!I love Backyards!!!!!!

Enjoyed a smoked Gouda chicken Quesadilla w peppery side salsa and. French Dip on your choice of breads with nummy fries!

5 stars just for the atmosphere! Very fun place with full bar, several good taps, friendly staff and solid menu. Football on several screens, at least pretend to be an Eagles fan!

Really a nice spot. All the bartenders I've met have been great. Some even cooler than others... This is a great hidden spot, I hope they do well. They have the right staff and formula.

Stopped in after work with a girlfriend and was immediately greeted. We decided to sit at the bar and the bartender quickly introduced herself and asked if we’d ever been inside. This was our first time so she handed us menus and made suggestions on what to order. Prices are super reasonable and I definitely pleased with the way we were treated. Will be back to this location.

Stopped by after an evening event nearby. We were greeted as soon as we walked in by very friendly staff. The food was very good, we were all very pleased with what we had. Large televisions for watching sports and great music.

Great place for good hot wings that are big and meaty. Also had the BYOB burger and it was great. They also have drink specials with good beer selection and prices. Also try the fried pickles for a really good appetizer.

Backyards is conveniently located near the Odysea, Butterfly Wonderland and a future huge shopping mall. We stopped there for lunch. It is very much a sports bar with tons of TV's, it even has a breathalizer right the exit door!I had the Impostor burger with a side chicken noodle cup. My hubby had a chicken club sandwich. Waitress was very nice. Food was low grade quality. My impostor burger was plain. The black bean patty was tasteless and dry. I ended up drenching it with ketchup, mustard and tobasco sauce. They evidently dont know how to make a vegan or vegetarian burger. The cup of soup was super oily. I fetched the noodles, squeezed them on the side of the cup to drain the oil and left the rest. The chicken club sandwich consisted of a thin slice of chicken in between the bread and some green, tomato and a side of tater totts... Each sandwich cost $13, way too much for what we got. We won't return to this place.

I've been coming to this specific location for the last 6 years. Now the place has changed as far as the who has owned the spot. But back yard is the best out of the three Restaurants/Bars that have been here. The owner is an awesome down to earth individual and the waitresses are even better. I love their wings here, they are absolutely massive and the sauces are tasty. In my picture it's the baby back half rack with garlic mash. It was great! Keep up the great work backyards!

I ordered a Boy Blue Burger for takeout, with a bacon addition. What I received was a dry patty with bacon. It's called a Boy Blue Burger because it comes with blue cheese. And like all burgers, it comes with tomato, onions, and pickles. At least that's what the description says. Yet, the burger came with NOTHING EXCEPT BACON. No cheese. No tomato. No onions. No pickle. They seriously need to pay attention to their takeout and delivery orders. We're just as valuable as the customers who come in. Do NOT order takeout or delivery from this place.

Service is pretty slow but the food is good

My colleagues and I have been going here after work for a few years now and have watched this place turn from dying into thriving under owner Eric's watchful eye. Drink prices are great for the area and the service is attentive. The food menu has gotten lots of tweaks and upgrades over the years and is better than ever. They also have Wi-Fi and the patio is big and comfortable.

I LOVE this place! Everything and everyone is amazing. Its a great place to relax and grab a beer after work. Prices are great too!!

Finally got around to trying Backyards for lunch. Because it was during work hours I went with appetizers. I ordered the Moab rolls & a side of fried pickles. The Moab rolls were okay, not much brisket and the bbq sauce seemed watery. The fried pickles were very salty & started to burn after a while. All & all it was bar food. The problem was the service. We had trouble catching our waitress' eye to get our tabs. Had to go hunt them down. There are other options for lunch in the neighborhood.

Maybe we caught them on an off day but our whole experience was really poor. The place was dead and the food took FOREVER and came out cold. Then we were served two incorrect orders. They remade the orders which took FOREVER again! Our group of 6 was very disappointed with the food and service. We wont be going back. Plenty of better options in the area.

Backyards is a great place to enjoy the Superbowl and spend time with friends eating delicious food.

Great digs! Love the menu. Chicken wings with meat on them, build your own salad or burger, which is great for my fussy allergy ridden diet. Outdoor dog friendly patio. The service is friendly and timely. We will definitely be visiting again.

No claimants. Great service, yummy food and tasty beer. I ordered their mother of all brisket sandwiches with a side of coleslaw. It came quick and tasted great. They have a lot of beer options, but almost all are on the light side. I was after a craft stout, but settled on a porter, which was very good. Peanut butter cup porter.

Awesome bar. I go here almost every night. Always treated great here. Mike is awesome and so are the rest of the bartenders. It's my go to place for watching hockey or Friday night curling. Food is really good as well. Highly recommend.

Eric and his staff went over and beyond for my bff's 50th surprise birthday. Only place that offered separate checks for our large party. (Over 50 people). You HAVE to take part in using their pastry chef in the kitchen. Her raspberry vanilla cake, with what tastes like cheesecake used as icing was pure Heaven! And how convenient to not have to worry about bringing a cake because it's there. Everyone loved it, even people who weren't crazy about cake loved it. The appetizers were awesome. Food off the menu was phenomenal! Cannot say enough! You have to give them a try!

Always a nice place to meet friends here in the Valley; it's a 1/2 way point for Us!The service is good and the food is great! I built my own burger and one friend had the Blue burger and my Hubby had the grilled cheese- all were very good.We will definitely be back!

A definate locals bar and grill that knows how to make you feel right at home. This is a low brow joint that's calm and friendly with an outstanding staff and a great menu. If you're in their good, stop in and say hello for me.Thanks for reading

Great menu, friendly & fast service

Great neighborhood bar... Without the neighborhood, if that makes any sense. Haven't tried everything on the menu, but i have to mention that their chimichonga was seriously one of best things I've ever eaten. It was THAT good. This place is legit.I don't know if their GM or staff reads these things...... but I would love to see a rotating beer list that includes more LOCAL craft beers on tap (not just San Tan Moon Juice). Something like The Shop Beer Co- Church Music, or Goldwater Hop Chowda. Just a thought.
